Mike Adams Sermon 57: When and where will the BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON take place?

The 57th sermon of the Health Ranger Mike Adams for the Church of Natural Abundance talked about when and where the Battle of Armageddon will happen. Basing his sermon from the book of the Prophet Ezekiel, the Bible nutrition educator said "Gog, of the land of Magog" will lead a vast army to attack Israel. This will culminate in the battle of Armageddon, which is also mentioned in the book of Revelation. According to Dr. Jeffrey Goodman's book "The Comets of God," analysis of the Scriptures has made it clear that the battle mentioned in Ezekiel and the battle of Armageddon one and the same. Adams continued that the Prophet Ezekiel's book repeatedly refers to a battle in the mountains. The word "armageddon" literally means a mountain rendezvous of troops, he added.

Mount Hermon the site of the final battle, not Megiddo hill

The Bible nutrition educator noted that Scripture reveals a specific mountain location where the great battle would take place. In this case, that location is Mount Hermon – contrary to the hill of Megiddo as popularly thought. Mount Hermon also lines up with current events, given its location on the border of Lebanon and Syria. "It's in southern Lebanon, but quite away north of the border with Israel. It's west of Damascus, Syria [and] it rises to 9,200 feet. It's the highest point on the east coast of the Mediterranean Sea," Adams said. "It's sometimes considered the southernmost extension of the Anti-Lebanon range, [and] at its feet are the two major sources of the Jordan River." According to Adams, the figure of speech "from the river to the sea" used by both Israelis and Palestinians pertains to the Jordan River and the Mediterranean sea. The Bible nutrition educator said Mount Hermon has been historically known as Sirion and is deemed a sacred landmark since the Bronze Age. The mountain is also a geographical landmark recognized for thousands of years, representing the northwestern limit of Israelite conquest under Moses and Joshua. This same mountain is where the battle of Armageddon takes place. Armageddon should be translated as a mountain rendezvous of troops in the context of the armies of the world. But in the context of the Jews fleeing the invading armies, the word should be translated as sacred mountain or mountain asylum. In Hebrew, the words "harmagedon" and "chermon" mean a mountain rendezvous of troops taking place at the mountain asylum to which the Jews have fled for safety. Adams added that one of Mount Hermon's three distinctive peaks is called Mount Zion or Mount Sion, which is why the Scriptures sometimes refer to this battle as taking place at Mount Zion.
