IBM subsidiary Red Hat SUED by America First Legal over alleged anti-White and anti-male employment practices
America First Legal has filed a discrimination lawsuit against Red Hat, a subsidiary of the International Business Machines Corporation (IBM), over alleged
discriminatory employment and termination practices against White males.
The lawsuit, filed in a federal Idaho court on behalf of Allan Kingsley Wood, a White male who served as the senior director of Red Hat for eight years, accused Red Hat of using illegal anti-White and anti-male hiring and terminating practices to reach its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) quotas.
According to the lawsuit, spearheaded by Stephen Miller, a prominent anti-immigration figure and advisor to former President Donald Trump, Red Hat announced its plan to diversify its workforce by changing 30 percent of its employees worldwide to females and another 30 percent to associates of color in the United States during the kickoff event of their "Bold DEI Goals" in Texas on June 7. Two weeks after the event, Allan Kingsley Wood, a White male who served as the senior director of Red Hat for eight years, along with 21 other employees, was terminated. Out of the 22 people terminated, 20 of them were White males.
Wood said his stance on religion and politics and refusal to receive a COVID-19 vaccine in 2021 may have influenced his termination despite his
exemplary performance and contributions to the company.
In line with all these
anti-White male discrimination practices, America First Legal has filed charges against Red Hat in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex or national origin in employment practices. Red Hat now faces charges of racial discrimination, gender discrimination, retaliation against Wood's opinions and violating FMLA. The suit asks Red Hat to admit the allegations and award the ex-employee compensation for lost earnings, emotional damages and punitive damages.
"We will use every tool to hold IBM accountable," said America First Legal on X. "We are proud to file this lawsuit to continue to fight corporate America's destructive, illegal and odious use of illegal DEI initiatives that are fundamentally anti-White, anti-male and anti-equality."
IBM and Red Hat have a history of racist hiring practices
This is not the first time IBM and Red Hat have faced controversy for their
racist hiring practices.
In 2023, investigative journalist James O'Keefe of
OMG Media Group, released leaked video footage showing IBM Chief Executive Officer and Board Chairman Arvind Krishna talking about the racist hiring practices he wanted to see at the company.
"On December 11, 2023, a tape of IBM Chief Executive Officer and Board Chairman Arvind Krishna was released on X. In the video, Krishna promises to fire, demote, or deny bonuses to corporate executives who either fail to meet the corporation's racial and national origin hiring quotas or who hire too many Asian individuals," a letter from the American First Legal Foundation reads.
In the video, Krishna can be seen threatening his corporate executives for not meeting the DEI hiring quotas.
"You've got to move both forward by a percentage that leads to a plus on your bonus," Krishna said, referring to IBM hiring more Hispanics and decreasing the number of Asians. "And by the way: If you lose, you lose part of your bonus."
Furthermore, Paul Cormier, Chairman of Red Hat, was recorded acknowledging that the company has fired employees for refusing to engage in discriminatory hiring practices.
