Florida's Gov. Ron DeSantis ENDS SQUATTER RIGHTS so police can remove illegal immigrants from rightful owners' homes

Squatting is the action of occupying an abandoned or unoccupied building or area of land, most often residential, that the squatter does not rent or own, or even have lawful permission to use. Globally, there are estimated to be about one billion squatters or "slum" residents. Many squatters break into vacant properties and just start illegally living in them, as is the case in Florida and across the United States right now, as the Biden Regime has the U.S. borders wide open, enabling this atrocity to happen everywhere. Well, Florida's Gov. Ron DeSantis has had enough, and has ended this illegal occupation in his state, allowing police to remove squatters so the owners can return to their property safely and without intimidating confrontation.

The verb squat means to sit on one's hams and haunches. This old word from the 17th century has been extended into a new meaning, "to settle upon new, uncultivated, or unoccupied land without any legal title and without the payment of rent." This is also termed adverse possession, where squatters unfairly obtain rights to occupy a residence they have no title, lease or permission to use or occupy. Some homeowners simply go on extended vacations, sabbatical or choose to "air-b-n-b" their homes periodically to help pay the mortgage. Now, thanks to the Biden Regime's open border policy, millions of illegal immigrants are invading the United States, including Florida, where they find a house or apartment where nobody is inside at the moment, break in and simply act like they live there. However, in the USA, squatting is illegal (at least in most states), and squatters can be evicted for trespassing. To make sure this happens legally, respectfully and peacefully, Florida's Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a new law effectively ending squatters' rights in the state. The changes go into effect July 1, as DeSantis definitively stated during a press conference a few days ago: "You are not going to be able to commandeer somebody's private property and expect to get away with it." Under HB 621, a property owner can request law enforcement to immediately remove a squatter from their property, as long as the following conditions are met: The individual has unlawfully entered and remains on the property, and the individual has already been directed to leave the property by the owner, but has refused. Other states in America actually have squatter's rights, including Delaware, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Louisiana, Maine and Maryland. Squatting is basically a scam, but the Biden Regime wants it to be legal in all states, so that the illegal aliens can stay here, be granted amnesty, obtain green cards and of course vote for Biden in November so he'll give them more free stuff that belongs to Americans, like their homes, money, food, children, guns and jobs. By replacing tens of millions of Americans with illegals, the Biden Regime hopes to cheat another election and remain in power. Governor DeSantis is done with the scam in his state. He says his new law now ends "… a massive, long, drawn-out judicial review before they can even be removed from the property. These are people that never had a right to be in the property to begin with. Earlier this month in New York, a woman returned to a property she inherited to find squatters living there. She changed the locks to get them out, and the state of New York arrested her instead of the squatters." Democrat-run cities and states across the nation are fueling the squatting epidemic by siding with the squatters when it comes to legal action, but in Florida, homeowners have rights to their homes, as they should. Now with the new law, it's squatters, not the homeowners, who will face legal repercussions. Any squatters who forge documents are charged with a misdemeanor, and if they cause over $1,000 damage to the home, will face second-degree felony charges.
