ADL bends the knee and kisses Elon's feet

The Anti-Defamation League, or “ADL,” is one of a group of left-wing organizations that uses seemingly innocent names like “Anti-Fascists” or “Black Lives Matter” as a smokescreen to conceal an underlying agenda of Marxism, division, and using politics as a bludgeon. It’s a sly tactic the left employs often in order to legitimize their radical groups. After all, who in their right mind would oppose a group called “Protect the Puppies,” right? Anyone who does would be a heartless ghoul. These benign group names provide the left with a bullet-proof shield, allowing them to get away with whatever they want because, well, they’re just a group that cares about saving puppies, right? (Article republished from Revolver.news) This is a tactic they’ve been employing for quite some time now, but thanks to Elon Musk, the jig may be up. The tables started turning when the ADL pushed things a bit too far. They decided to go to war with X, and their weapon of mass destruction was “advertisers.” The ADL hatched a plan to destroy X’s revenue stream by coercing advertisers to cut ties with X over so-called “hate speech.” Elon saw these attacks for exactly what they were—an organized assault on X by the ADL, notorious for their aggressive tactics, accusing almost anyone of “hate” and “anti-Semitism,” all while being one of the most divisive, intolerant, and deceitful groups around. And, let’s face it, Elon had a little bit of help from Revolver in anticipating this attack from the ADL—at least that’s what Rachel Maddow and her gay best friend concluded in a recent hysterical and factually-challenged MSNBC bit. The viral article urging Elon to buy Twitter and warning him of what was to come can be read here: The Battle of the Century: Here’s What Happens if Elon Musk Buys Twitter. Of course, girlboss Ben Collins dishonestly claims that the piece was a step-by-step instruction manual rather than a prediction and warning to Elon of what was to come. Needless to say, Elon, the free-thinking critic from the left, now finds himself in the crosshairs of the Biden regime. In response to the relentless attacks, the SpaceX billionaire took a bold stance against the ADL, which operates as an extension of the regime. So, the world’s richest man promptly announced he planned to sue the ADL for defamation and other allegations. Almost instantly, the ADL changed its tune. Here’s the statement they issued:
New York, NY, October 4, 2023 … ADL (the Anti-Defamation League) issued the following statement today regarding recent developments with X/Twitter: “In light of recent events, it feels like a useful moment to clarify the ADL position on X and its leadership. “As we have noted in our research over the past several years, X – along with other social media platforms – has a serious issue with antisemites and other extremists using these platforms to push their hateful ideas and, in some cases, bully Jewish and other users. “We appreciate X’s stated intent over the last few weeks to address antisemitism and hate on the platform. This has been useful; more needs to be done; and, as we have with other companies, in the spirit of collaboration, we are hopeful that we can continue to engage with X on this important matter. “We want to do so because ADL fights antisemitism, hate, and extremism across all platforms and regardless of party or ideology. We attempt to work with each platform in a constructive manner. We engage with all of them routinely on how to make their platforms better. “To be clear, any allegation that ADL has somehow orchestrated a boycott of X or caused billions of dollars of losses to the company or is “pulling the strings” for other advertisers is false. Indeed, we ourselves were advertising on the platform until the anti-ADL attacks began a few weeks ago. We now are preparing to do so again to bring our important message on fighting hate to X and its users. “A better, healthier, and safer X would be a win for the world. We’ve said that publicly and repeatedly, and we hope that company leadership shares that goal as well. As we do with all platforms, we will credit X as it moves in that direction, and we also will call it out when it has not. “For over a century, ADL has worked across the political spectrum and with a wide range of companies and organizations to promote tolerance and religious freedom while challenging antisemitism and hate. We know that the vast majority of Americans share these goals.  By working collaboratively with X and other platforms, we endeavor to further this common mission while respecting the Constitutional right to free speech and religious liberty that belongs to all of us.”
Not only did they backtrack, but they also extended a very nervous olive branch by purchasing an advertising package. Remarkably, it seems that the threat of a lawsuit compelled the ADL to reverse course and bend the knee, and as an extra humiliating bonus, they also kissed Elon’s feet by buying an advertising package. Brilliant. Yahoo News:
The Anti-Defamation League on Wednesday said it plans to resume advertising on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, following a spat with owner Elon Musk. Musk last month threatened to sue the ADL for defamation, claiming that the nonprofit organization’s statements about rising hate speech on the social media platform had hurt X’s advertising revenue. ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt pushed back on the claims, saying that while the ADL was part of a coalition of groups that called on companies to pause advertising on the platform immediately following Musk’s acquisition last year, it had not been engaged in such calls in recent months. Musk’s statements about the group also amplified a campaign of antisemitic hate against the organization that had begun prior to Musk’s legal threat, leading to a surge of threats directed at the ADL, Greenblatt told CNN last month. The rights group reiterated in a statement Wednesday that “any allegation that ADL has somehow orchestrated a boycott of X or caused billions of dollars of losses to the company or is ‘pulling the strings’ for other advertisers is false.” “Indeed, we ourselves were advertising on the platform until the anti-ADL attacks began a few weeks ago,” the group said. “We now are preparing to do so again to bring our important message on fighting hate to X and its users.” Musk responded to the ADL’s statement in a post Wednesday saying, “Thank you for clarifying that you support advertising on X.” The statement appears to mark a resolution — for now — to weekslong tension between Musk and the ADL, which has coincided with incidents of antisemitism rising across the United States. But the group says it will continue to monitor for antisemitic content on X.
The best part of all of this? The whole thing played out on X. Well, thankfully, this story has a happy ending—at least for now. The evil ADL was brought to heel, and we love to see it—although we are sure they are cooking new dirty tricks as we speak. This is how we notch a win against Marxist bullies and cancel culture vultures—but remember, the fight never ends. Read more at: Revolver.news
