Critics are blasting the company and saying that the ad could breach the Advertising Standards Authority guidance which warns against “glamourizing” or “trivializing” cosmetic surgery. In its social responsibility section of its website the ASA states: “Marketers should take care not to trivialize the decision to have cosmetic surgery.” Others are calling it immoral to celebrate transgenderism and mutilating women in obeisance to that agenda. “This is mindless, irresponsible, virtue-signaling, woke capitalism at its most dangerous,” said James Esses, the co-founder of Thoughtful Therapists, a group of counsellors and psychologists concerned with the effect gender politics is having on children.
